What's the next event? When can I learn more?

I lead a Q&A session during last week's Bloom Event Seattle Satellite. I followed Marcus Boni's discussion about careers in coffee, and asked the audience "Now What?"

A barista asked - as they invariably do - "when is the next event or opportunity like this?"

It was an aha moment for me. I decided not just to answer the question, but to create a page on this site dedicated to the topic.

Coffee People, events are all around you, all around the US and the world! If they're not, you can put one together! We are fortunate to have a community that loves to put together events. 

One area where we struggle is making sure people know about the events. So I made a calendar that I hope will promote local events all over -- all you have to do is submit an event through this form, or invite me to your public event on facebook. I'll do my best to post it and keep up!
